A little bit about me

 

Hi,

Me

I'm Camila, but some friend call me mika (but only a  few privileged). I'm a student of biochemistry in the "univercidad de chile".

I was born and grew in Santiago, Chile, in a really boring place called macul, where nothing really interesting ever happens (maybe when there are soccer matches in the monumental).

I like to say that i have 2 dads (to scare homophobes xd), because i have my dad and my step dad, so in fact i have 3 parents (with my mom), i think that´s really cool. My mom and step dad had 2 more children, my sister and brother that i love so much (but sometimes not that much).

I also have 2 cats, but just one is mine, the other one is my sister, because it's my parent's cat, so it's kinda like a sibling (i think). Their names are Haru and Mani, an orange and black cat, that's why i like to call them Halloween cats. They are the most beautiful animals in the world.


Like I said, I study biochemistry, I'm in the 3rd semester and i'm really liking it. I think that i always liked science, especially biology and chemistry, so i´m really happy learning about them (even if i have to study physics and math too). But what i really love about this, it's that i can work in the laboratory, and do experiments and cool stuff.

Besides science, other things that i like are dressing cute, make up, talk a lot, watch series, listen to music (especially rock music) drink tea, sleep and get lost in the internet.

And i think that a good summary about my self.

Time travel

If I could travel in time I would like to go to the past, specifically to the my chemical romance concerts in 2006, where they toured for their concert the black parade. Those concerts were so cool, it's one of my favorite albums so in my opinion the music is great, I love the outfits they wore, also the band members were very entertaining on stage. I would also like to go a little before 2004 when they published their album Three cheers for sweet revenge, also an amazing album, which was published a year after I was born, so it was a little difficult for me to go see them xd. I would really love to see a my chemical romance concert live when they were young, I was too young at the time to even know them, so when I started liking them they had already broken up :c (Just as a curious fact, they came back a couple of years ago, but they haven't come to Chile and I don't have the money to see them in the USA :C) So I would like to go to 2006, just to be able to hear Gerard Way...

My favorite photo

It's a little difficult to choose just one photo,m because all the photos of my cats are my favorites. But if i have to choose, I choose this one.This specific photo is of my cat when he was a kitten. I adopted him when he was very little, and now, a year and something later, he is really big, so I really appreciate these photos when he was a baby cat. I took this picture when my cat had been in my house for two months, so he was just like a little kid and was very playful. At the exact moment of taking the photo, we were both getting ready to sleep, so he was getting comfortable between my pillows, and I took the picture just at the right time. He looks so cute and peaceful (he was not peaceful). I think this is one of the prettiest pictures i have of my cat, and I love it, it makes me miss when he was so tiny and fit in my hands (he is so gigantic right now, it's impressive, I'm gonna attach evidence). He is so big now 🤧

Why Did I Choose My Mayor?

 I´m a biochemistry student, that means that i study the chemistry in the biology, but wen I was little I never thought that i would end up being a scientist.  When i was a kid i never really thought about what i wanted to be in the future, I was happy being a kid and not worring about anything. Later, when I was growing I went through some diferent options, but none convinced me. I wated to be a kinesiologist at first, then a math teacher and then a medical technologist. But in the end I choose Biochemestry.  I think it shows that I always liked the scientific side, and when I was in my last year of school I noticed that the laboratory work was really cool. So I started looking for options related to that area, and ended here. So far I really like what I study. When I started I was a little scared that I didn't like it, I wasn´t entirely sure, but later I realized that I really enjoy studing all the subjects and specially the ones related to the laboratory and ...
